Hello Chris, Thank you for the as usual quick prompt. Script R for the MCMCglmm is pasted below. But I am not sure I understand your comment about Rstan. "The relevel command is being used here to set which value is used as the base category, however the variable in question is not a factor var...

Hi, I am having trouble running Stat-jr 2LevelUnordered template in MCMCglmm and Rstan. I am able to run the Regression2 template in MCMCglmm but when I switch to the 2LevelUnordered template and try with MCMCglmm that fails. Switching to Rrstan also fails. Hi Chris,
Following your comment, I recoded the categories of the dependent variable to be 1,2 and 3 with 3 as the excluded category and that appears to fix the problem.

eStat Error running 1levelundordered multinomial logit

I get an error running the template for the 1levelunorderd multinomial logit with eStat. I have attached the errors reported in Stat-JR and the commands reported in the command window. I would appreciate any help available figuring out what is going on. Thanks.

Hello Chris,
Thank you very much for the prompt reply. I located the Browne et al. article and have been able to develop a model in mcmc for an overdispersion poisson regression. Thanks a great deal.
