variable v28 not found

Hi, I've just got this error after realcomImputeLoad. I think I've had it before but am not sure where to look in the impvals file to check. I've used the following insheet using impvals.txt, clear nonames and everything seems in order - it specifies 28 separate variables, with the number of imputati...

Re: "Attempted to access MISSINGFULL(1,;)" error.

Thanks for continuing to look into this. Initially I did change the missing value. However, changing it to the default didn't resolve the issue so I ruled that out at the time. The thing which seemed to fix it was that my data weren't actually multilevel initially (!) in that they were still in wide...

Re: One variable not imputed

Thanks Chris

I re-ran the Realcom model and for some reason I couldn't replicate the error. Which is good in the end I suppose, but a bit confusing as I didn't change any of the settings.

One variable not imputed

Hi I've just run my realcom model but having successfully loaded it into Stata, one variable (logbmi) was not imputed (i.e. when I type 'mi xeq: summarise varx', no imputed values are included). Not sure where to start - it was definitely listed in my realcom model as a response when I just checked ...

Re: longitudinal dataset

Hi Sandhu, Hi Can we extend Realcom Impute (through stata realcomImpute commands) to three level data structure. For example in case of one-stage meta analysis of longitudinal studies where repeated measurements (level 1) nested within individual (level 2), which are further nested in studies (level...

Re: "Attempted to access MISSINGFULL(1,;)" error.

Hi Chris and Harvey, Harvey was very helpful in making some suggestions such as ensuring that all my observations had some data (which was an issue) and ensuring that I had Matlab stats toolkit installed (which I didn't..). However, these didn't resolve the issue. I eventually 'solved' this in the s...

"Attempted to access MISSINGFULL(1,;)" error.

Hello, I have exported a small set of 4 response variables and 2 explanatory variables to build a test imputation model. I am using Stata 12 and exporting data to Realcom using Realcom-Impute using the following code: *export MI ge cons= 1 //needed for realcomImpute model sort ParticipantID preserve...

Re: Limiting imputation values to the range of the variable

Hi Harvey,

Thanks for the reply. I think that this additional functionality will be very useful.

Best wishes

Limiting imputation values to the range of the variable

Hi all, So I've imputed a percentage variable and then looked at the histograms of the variable in 3 of the imputed datasets and the maximum value comes out at 150. The histogram for the observed values did not range above this point. Is there a way to constrain REALCOM so that only 'possible' value...

Re: Variable not allowed

Hi Chris,

Many thanks. It was the impvals file not being tab delimited.

Best wishes
