Re: IGLS for cross classified model

Yes, I understand the potential estimation problem. However, this sounds more like listwise deletion rather than true FIML, correct?

IGLS for cross classified model

I'm running Mlwin 2.35 under Win Server 2012 (64 bit) with 12 GB memory. I have a dataset that is about 150k individuals. I want to build a cross classified multilevel logistic model (all covariates at level 1) with random intercepts only for now. The documentation suggests MCMC as the method of cho...

Re: Multinomial repeated logistic regression

Thought about this some more. Seems like a repeated cross-sectional analysis would work. That makes this a three level model: individual measurements nested in time nested in physicians. If I include the grouping variable which is at level three, then I have an equation that looks like the following...

Multinomial repeated logistic regression

I have a longitudinal data set that is comprised of a set of physician prescription patterns (three unordered categories). Within each physician there are two assessments, pre- and post-test. At the pre- and post-test, there are 3-140 responses for each physician. So I have these measurements nested...

Re: Random intercept vs. random slopes in 2LevelImpute

Yes, WordPad displays the ResultsTable_Imputation file. Thanks for the tip. Didn't realize it was a text file. I remember your post from the 9th, but it was not clear to me. Here's why: Current input string: {'want2': 'No', 'bin1_5': 'Binary', 'ximp1_0_2': 'sexrec:cat,quarterrec:cat,gestagecat:cat,s...

Re: Random intercept vs. random slopes in 2LevelImpute

Good news and bad news. When I tried to go to compatibility mode, TREE restarted and I lost the results pane, so I no longer have access to my output files. I guess I should have been on the tab displaying the graph before attempting this. I don't know how to get back to my files without rerunning m...

Re: Random intercept vs. random slopes in 2LevelImpute

So what other ways would you suggest for displaying the plots? I think there might be a way to do this in R, but I'm not that facile with that application. Anything else? Mlwin doesn't seem to recognize that type of file, but I could be doing something wrong. And is there an easy way of telling whic...

Re: Random intercept vs. random slopes in 2LevelImpute

Using IE10. I'm in a 64 bit operating environment if that makes any difference. After running my model, I downloaded the files by clicking the green download button and saving the zip file to disk. I then extracted the files from the archive using 7-Zip-this produced a lot individual files, includin...

Re: Random intercept vs. random slopes in 2LevelImpute

Yes, that is a .tex extension. Thanks for clarifying this is not yet populated. That's a nice feature in REALCOM. It would be high on my wish list. So I tried the patient approach with one of the .svg files (Imputation_Model_beta1_0.svg). I've been waiting about 1.5 hours, but nothing appears on the...

Re: Random intercept vs. random slopes in 2LevelImpute

I never was able to make sense of the chains in my ivh model, so I'll return to that later. I've run a random intercept model on a binary outcome which runs to completion. It generates a lot of output which I think should be something that could be displayed in a popout window according to the docum...
