Installing REALCOM-IMPUTE
Hello: I am trying to run REALCOM-IMPUTE but I keep getting an error message "The program can't start because mclmcrrt710.dll is missing from your computer. I assume that this is because I installed the wrong version of MATLAB runtime. I installed the R2012b Windows 32-bit version MATLAB runtim...

Re: multivariate multiple membership models
That is what I had done originally. It does give reasonable results. The only problem is that when I set up the multiple membership model in the classification window and click done, I get a pop-up window that says "multiple membership column wrong length(XCLA)". If I click OK for that pop...

Re: multivariate multiple membership models
I tried this but the results don't look right. When I fit a univariate multiple membership model for reading I get a 3rd level variance component of 10.436. When I fit a multivariate multiple membership model for reading and math I get a 3rd level variance component of 5.676. In both cases I have a ...

multivariate multiple membership models
Hello: I am attempting to fit a multivariate multiple membership models. I am following the same procedures as for a univariate multiple membership model with weights and higher level id's in consecutive columns. The weights are weight1, weight2 and the ids are picx1 picx2 where the picx's indicate ...

Re: constraints for multilevel ordinal response model
Then the issue is where I can join my constraints to the already existing constraints? Here's where I think the relevant code is from BVAR.MC case 1: note ordered multinomial switch b9 case : note 1st iter constrain (p=mvar) count c1096 b201 switch b201 case 0: put 1 0.1 c1096 set b201 1 ends put b2...

Re: constraints for multilevel ordinal response model
I think that you are exactly right. When I do SETT I get
RCONstraints in c1488 .
However when I look at the macro bvar.mc, I don't see how it sets that column for the constraints.
I do see b4 and cb4. Does cb4 refer to b4? Is b4 actually c1488?
Any thoughts?
Steve

Re: constraints for multilevel ordinal response model
I tried the following
JOIN 1 0 0 1 C118
RCON C118
but the constraints were not applied. The estimated variance component was 0.153, not 1.0.

constraints for multilevel ordinal response model
The question I am trying to ask on the user forum concerns setting constraints on variance parameters. I have a 3 level random effects model where the response varialbe is ordered multinomial. The 3 levels are teacher, time and item. Teacher and time are defined as simple random effects. I wish to c...

Worksheet Size
I used to be able to change the worksheet size by choosing options and changing the (k cells) in the worksheet tab of settings. However, lately when I do this I notice the that entry always returns to a value of 100000 whether I increase or decrease the size. That is, when I choose worksheet again f...
