Cross-classified multinomial problems

Post by spidermonkeydp »

Hi,
I have cross-classified data and a multinomial response variable. How do I go about setting up the model?

I know how to set up a cross classified model for a binary response variable but when I try this attempt this process with a multinomial response variable I get various errors.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to set up the model or could point me in the direction of instructions on how to construct such a model?

Thank you

D.

This shouldn't be too bad in MCMC. Basically set up your model as in the MCMC manual chapter for multinomial then add on the extra levels as you would anyway. Ignore any error messages from IGLS. Switch to MCMC and tick the cross classified box as in the cross classified chapter in the MCMC manual.
