variable is listed twice in a 'short version' of the variabl

Post by elinas »

I did the practical P5.1 with my own data. But when I try to examine country effects (my group level variable) something goes wrong.

I have 33 different countries and I would like to examine the residuals of the countries as explained in the practical. But when I create a short version of country (that contains only one record per country) to be able to view residuals per country, I end up with more categories. In total 37 countries. I sorted the data in the beginning, so I don't know where it went wrong. I also checked: The initial variable country has 33 categories. Any suggestions what went wrong?

Thank you!!
