Starting values

Post by Corrie »

Hi,

I'm fitting a mixed response bivariate model in Realcom-Impute but finding that the chains for the level 2 variance parameters are taking thousands of iterations to burn in - is there any way of setting the starting values in Realcom?

Thanks

Unfortunately there is currently no way to set initial values for parameters in the released version of Realcom, however this is something that we may investigate in the future.

Sorry that we couldn't provide a better answer.
