Limiting imputation values to the range of the variable

Post by Jamoo »

Hi all,

So I've imputed a percentage variable and then looked at the histograms of the variable in 3 of the imputed datasets and the maximum value comes out at 150. The histogram for the observed values did not range above this point. Is there a way to constrain REALCOM so that only 'possible' values can be imputed?

Thanks

Jamie

At the moment unfortunately this cannot be done in REALCOM. We do have very experimental software that will do this but not yet suitable for release. We hope to make this facility available later this year and will announce it when ready.

Hi Harvey,

Thanks for the reply. I think that this additional functionality will be very useful.

Best wishes
