Time for program to run

Post by shakespeare »

I'm interested in measuring how long it takes the 2LevelImpute template to run my data. What is the best way?

If you run the template through the TREE interface there is a timer for the overall run time (in seconds) in the menu bar at the top of the page. There are also timings reported for individual stages reported in the text console, but depending on how big you have set your scroll buffer these may have scrolled off by the time the model is run. The template will probably be slower to run the first time you do so as the model code has to be compiled. This is cached for subsequent runs of the same model.
