Testing assumptions of binary outcomes?

Post by KatHarvey1 »

Hi,
I am using MLM for a binary outcome. I can't find information about testing assumptions for binary outcomes - do the methods for testing Normality (q-q plot & heteroscedasticity) apply?
Many thanks,
Kat

Yes you can still informally evaluate the Normality assumption by a q-q plot of the residuals at the higher levels.
