Second level residuals have two residuals per group instead of one

Post by pimverbunt »

Dear users,

I am modelling a two-level binary logistic regression in mlwin, using the household and the regional level. Whenever I estimate the level two residuals, I get two residuals per group (224 instead of 112). Is this a common issue, and what can I do the circumvent this problem?

Kind regards,

Can you describe your model and data, as this might explain what is happening? Could you also confirm that your data is sorted correctly (if you check the model->hierarchy viewer menu then the number of units should match what you expect)?
